Supporting the Fight Against Gender-Based Violence

Crowd Intelligence Services (CIS) stands in solidarity with President Hakainde Hichilema and the Zambian Government in their commitment to combat Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and promote gender equality. GBV remains a grave human rights violation that demands urgent and collective action from all sectors of society.

As we commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration, we are reminded of the critical importance of gender equality in building a fair and just society. CIS fully supports the call to amend laws that enhance women’s participation in governance and decision-making at all levels. Empowering women in leadership is a key step toward addressing the structural inequalities that perpetuate GBV and other forms of discrimination.

CIS reaffirms its dedication to this cause through advocacy, community engagement, and partnerships. We are actively working to raise awareness about GBV, provide platforms for victims to speak out, and promote protection of women and girls. Our ongoing programs include supporting survivors, fostering community dialogues, and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen legal and social frameworks that prevent violence.

We call on all Zambians to embrace the President’s message of love, unity, and action. Ending violence against women and girls requires a collective effort—from individuals, communities, and institutions alike. Together, we can create a Zambia where every individual, regardless of gender, can live free from fear, violence, and discrimination.
